Swimming and Locks

Tuesday’s Hair Tips:

When swimming in pools with chlorine protecting your hair is a must, here are a few tips that will help…

*For long locks wear swim cap or a protective hairstyle,  braids are cornrows. This prevents the full weight of the water from pulling on your locks.

*Wet hair thoroughly before swimming as well as apply a conditioner to block some of the chlorine absorption.

*After swimming wash hair with a chlorine removing shampoo, Sisterlocks Starter Shampoo works well in removing chlorine, follow with a leave in condition.

PS. RINSING alone will not remove the chlorine. Happy swimming!!
